wow what can I say :)
Over the past month I have engaged a programmer who had done past work for us (as we outsource programming) now past work should have been a warning sign but we ignored it! Yikes that was foolish wasn't it?
This programmer knew of the deadline that lay ahead, he had been give the word doc of what needed to be done AND I made myself available when ever he needed me to check or ask questions.

Did he deliver? no! He is quite happy to allow my client loose $2 million dollars and no I am not kidding!
My client got an extension for her presentation and even with that extension he just bailed on us!
Lovely hey lol well thanks to guru.com and a previous job we had listed there we saved our favourite programmers and yes the previous programmer was deleted from that list lol

We now have a programmer that is doing all he can working to a deadline being rushed so he doesn't have time to fully look around and see what the program does.
Do you know I can see that he read the word doc given to him, that he understands and knows how to do it lol he is an absolute god send and will save the day for us.

We still have a few more hours to go before the deadline finishes and I know he will do it J

My client will be able to present her new website to the Australian Government, she will win her $2 million, the rental industry hob knobs will eat their words (they say it can't be done lol) she will feature in magazines that have already contacted her and she will be on TV every where! Oh oh oh and she will WIN the competition that she has entered her site into (it is a government competition) she has been short listed already to the top 10!

And boy do I feel proud J I was part of all of this and I can now watch my clients website and business grow J I know she will do extremely well and I know I will get more business from all this and that her site will bring more traffic to my site just to see who created this amazingly simple but complex website lol

I wish her well and thank my programmer who will now get tonnes more work from us he he he the list is already written lol

Be warned everyone, really look into who you are working with, build your team solid so that you can depend on them and make sure you prune out the dead wood that is holding you back!
